Paws Paper Review

A few weeks ago I bought some kits from Paws Paper and I wanted to review this shop for you because I think that they are actually really nice for the price and you can actually make a decent spread out of what you get.

For a brief review I do suggest this shop, but for a deeper review please keep reading! Continue reading

Pet Updates!

Finally!!! It’s the last week of classes!!

So if you’ve ever gone to school you know how happy everyone gets when you reach the last week of classes, and although I’m very happy about this I always get nervous because of my two pets.

So what are my two angels doing this summer? What have they been up to?

Pets in My Planner

Over the last few weeks I’ve been asked how I put my pets in my planner, and to be honest it isn’t too interesting, but I thought I would let  you guys in on what’s going on.

The first way that I put my pets in my planner is on the side bar I put this sticker for Gatsby and this sticker for Lucia. Obviously these aren’t perfect, but I sort of use them as they are and make it work. Basically instead of cage for both of them it means spot cleaning and actually cleaning the wheels. For Food for Lucia I use it much more for fresh veggies, which she gets every day.

12974548_10204351816075222_44259035578763914_nThere’s quiet the story behind the hedgehog one actually, I was playing around online and found the hamster one and my mom contacted the shop and the owner (Snowy Swan) was so sweet and did it in a few days. My mom told me that there was a surprise for me on her Etsy and I was so excited to see it! I read over the conversation my mom had with the owner and she was so sweet. I’ll have a shop review up in a few weeks for this shop.

So what about vet appointments? I typically will put vets under my Today section with a little paw sticker and a sticker of either a hedgehog or a hamster to show who is going to the vet.

(Please note I plan taking Gatsby to the vet twice a year. Once in the Spring for an annual checkup and then again in the fall because the school needs a note from the vet saying that he is healthy a maximum of three weeks before the school starts. Please take your animals to the vet at least once a year to get checked over so that if something does go wrong you already have communication and some sort of relationship with the vet.)

So if someone does get sick I will put it down in my little things with what time they need their medicine so that I’m able to keep track of this. I will also put alarms on my phone so that they get them at the same time every day.

As a side note I also keep a notebook with what treats I give my pets each day and I keep track of their weight each week in order to help catch problems before they arise.

So how do you keep track of your pets? Let me know down below!

See you soon,

Amanda

Just a little Crisis

I’m not sure how many people have anxiety, but I’m pretty sure it’s common enough where I can post this and people will know what I’m talking about. I’ve been having a really hard week and everything just seems to be everywhere. So let’s talk about it a little bit.

Kurt’s Graduating

I haven’t kept it a secret that Kurt’s graduating, but when we were at lunch with his family I found the date fell out of my mouth quickly and then I realized how close that was going to be. The realization of that has just given me a panic attack and as the day creeps closer I find myself getting a huge stomach ace over it.

My niece is pregnant!

So I don’t really talk about my nieces and nephews on this blog, but they do exist, and the second youngest just announced that she is pregnant. Although I am super happy for her I’m finding it sort of hard to realize that she’s going to become a mom. I reached out to her and she’s been talking to me a lot, but it’s just a thing that is sort of scaring me.

Housing

So this last week was the wonderful week of housing and I’m happy to say that I have a four person apartment, but the track to that was long and hard and nothing went right. I’m happy to say we ended up where we wanted to be but it was hard and anxiety inducing. So after not getting three different apartments I’m happy to say that for right now I do have a place to live next year.

After college

recently I’ve been helping Kurt with budgeting and such and I actually started looking at my own after college plan. I’m finding that it’s changing a lot but I’m happy that I am finding that I will be able to do my sort of new plan (post about that this time next year)

So after having a very stressful week I’m going to be going back to the regularly scheduled programing next week.

See you soon,

Amanda

When Things Go Bad

In the last week a lot of things have gone wrong. I’m not really going to talk about them here because they are personal, but a lot has been going on.

So today I just want to talk about some stuff that I do when things go bad, and hopefully these will help you out if you’re having a bad day or going through a bad time.

Vineger?!?!?!?

I’ve never really mentioned this on my blog, but I thought of it over the weekend while I was talking to Kurt about the “Deep Clean” for my pets that will be going on this weekend.

This weekend Lucia’s cage is getting a Deep Clean, which means that Gatsby is getting a deep clean, which means I’m going to have to clean my tub before my roommate or I use it.

So, how do I do a deep clean? Why is this post titled Vinegar?

Stay with me here, let’s keep going.
